DesignGen for Cursor

Production files without leaving the editor

One click adds DesignGen to Cursor. Then the agent that writes your storefront can make the artwork for it, check it, and hand back files a press can run.

The finished Summit Stride print file on a transparency checkerboard: a forest green mountain and winding trail under a burnt orange sunburst, with the lettering arced above.

Print file · 11 in · DTF · 600 DPI · Transparent

The PNG as delivered. The checkerboard is the transparency: nothing but the design prints.

An SVG comes with it when the art is a vector fit: flat colour, no gradients. This design has soft shading across 32 colours, so a 600 DPI PNG is the right file for it.

The job on this page was run from a Claude conversation. The connector and the tools are the same in Cursor. The brief: Vintage athletic screen-print graphic for a trail running club: a mountain ridge, a rising sun, a winding trail and the words SUMMIT STRIDE, in forest green, burnt orange and bone cream.

Before it prints

The check that free tools skip

Close-up of the S and T of STRIDE as first generated: textured green letters with a cream outline, sitting in a mottled grey semi-transparent haze.

As generated · 186 DPI at 11 in

The grey is not the shirt. It is a translucent haze, and it prints.
The same letters in the production file: flat forest green with a crisp cream outline, on a fully transparent background.

Print file · 600 DPI at 11 in

Hard edges and real transparency. Only the design prints.

Preflight · 11 in · DTF · free

  • failFine detail. 47% of it is thinner than the 0.01 in DTF minimum
  • warnResolution. About 186 DPI at 11 in, against a 300 DPI target
  • warnSoft edges. 48% of ink pixels are semi-transparent
  • warnHalo. The border is only partly transparent
  • passPixel size. 2048 × 2048 px

The first version has more texture, and it is a lovely image. It would also have printed a grey box around the design. Preflight is what tells the two apart before anyone runs a shirt.
