Agent-assisted setup

Connect DesignGen to Cursor

Install DesignGen in Cursor with one click, authorize in the browser, and call print-ready and Creative Studio tools from the editor.

The copied brief contains the MCP command, a self-contained DesignGen skill, OAuth handoff instructions, and a read-only verification checklist. It never includes a token or authorizes paid work.

Secure handoff

Let your agent configure everything it safely can.

Paste the copied Markdown into Cursor. It will inspect existing configuration, add DesignGen MCP, install the workflow skill where supported, and open OAuth. Your account and approval choices stay with you.

  1. 01

    Copy the setup

One button copies the complete agent-readable brief.

  2. 02

    Agent configures

Cursor adds MCP and installs the DesignGen skill where supported.

  3. 03

    You authorize

Sign in, review scopes and policy, then approve access.

Your agent handles

  • Checks existing MCP configuration before changing it.
  • Adds the production Streamable HTTP endpoint.
  • Installs the self-contained DesignGen workflow skill.
  • Verifies OAuth and connection status without spending credits.

Only you handle

  • Signing in to your DesignGen account.
  • Reviewing the scopes requested by Cursor.
  • Choosing the approval policy you are comfortable with.
  • Approving or denying the OAuth connection.

One-click install

This opens your editor with the DesignGen server pre-filled, so you do not have to hand-edit a config file. You still authorize in the browser afterwards.

One click is the whole setup

Use Add to Cursor above. It opens Cursor with the DesignGen server pre-filled, so there is no config file to hand-edit. You still authorize in the browser afterwards.

  • Nothing is written to your account until you complete the DesignGen sign-in.
  • Review the requested scopes and the approval policy on the sign-in screen.
  • Never paste an access token into the editor. DesignGen does not use one.

Adding it by hand instead

If the deeplink is blocked, add a Streamable HTTP server to your Cursor MCP config and leave every other server in place.

  • Reload Cursor if the tools do not appear; a stale tool list is not a failed grant.
  • Then call mcp_connection_status and check the client, scopes and active brand.
