Troubleshoot Upscale and transparent edges

Processing is pending or the connection dropped

Reopen the design and let the pending request finish. Check your saved results and current request state before starting another Upscale. A connection interruption alone does not mean a request failed.

The selected artwork changed

If the artwork changed before processing could start, select the updated source and try again. Make sure the selection matches the design you want enlarged. Keep the original and review the saved result before using it.

The image is too large

Sources must be at most 10 MiB and the fixed 4× result at most 100 MP. Use a smaller original source if the output exceeds the limit. See credit and dimension examples.

The output still has a background

Upscale retains transparency that already exists. An opaque JPG or PNG keeps its background. Use background removal first, inspect the cutout, and then select the cleaned version for Upscale.

Text, thin strokes, or edges look wrong

Check the original. Repair unreadable lettering, clipped strokes or unwanted edge pixels before enlarging. Inspect the result against light and dark backgrounds at the intended use size. Upscale cannot guarantee that missing detail will be recovered.

The result seems missing after a reload

Review your saved designs and allow a pending request to complete. Select the saved enlarged result for reuse or download; do not assume that returning to a page selects the result automatically. If the request state remains unclear, contact support with a description of the action and what you see. Do not send passwords or access tokens.

Final PNG check

Open the downloaded PNG. Confirm the expected width and height, intended transparent regions, readable lettering and complete outlines. Review the intended print process separately before production.

Read the source-to-export guide, follow the saved-result walkthrough, or return to Image Tools.
