Upscale credits, dimensions, and image limits

Upscale is a fixed 4× action: width and height each increase by four. Total pixels increase sixteen times. It uses account credits based on the output size.

Credit rule

Upscale uses 10 account credits for every started 24 MP of output. One MP is 1,000,000 pixels. Exactly 24 MP uses 10 credits; any positive amount above that starts the next block.

Source dimensionsOutput dimensionsAccount credits
1024 × 10244096 × 409610
2000 × 20008000 × 800030
3000 × 200012000 × 800040
1500 × 10006000 × 4000 (exactly 24 MP)10
1501 × 10006004 × 4000 (just over 24 MP)20

All dimensions in the table are pixels. These are educational examples; choose the source artwork you actually intend to use.

Image limits

  • Source file: up to 10 MiB.
  • Fixed 4× output: up to 100 MP.

If the result would exceed the output limit, choose a smaller original source. A 3000 × 2000 source produces 96 MP. Increasing both dimensions grows output pixels quickly.

PNG output and transparency

The result is a raster PNG. Existing transparent source areas remain transparent. Upscale does not remove an opaque background, create vector paths, or guarantee recovery of missing details.

Use the step-by-step workflow, troubleshooting, or Image Tools. Current plan information remains on the pricing section.
